The O.C.

How good is The O.C? I'm hooked.

And all the sheilas in the show are so foxxy. The mums included! Julie Cooper especially. Did you hear tonight they said she used to be into Def Leppard and had big hair and wanted to move to L.A. to marry a rock star? She's even cooler than she was before now. Good on that Luke kid for giving it to her I reckon. She's a foxx!

Summer is the hottest in the show. Actually she was, until Kirsten's sister came into it. I think she might just be the best one... Hayley.

Hey I was watching an old Seinfeld ep ("Muffin Tops") last night on VHS and was sure the girl dating him who liked hairless things was her, and low n behold it was!

*She is only 32 now by the way, as I suspected, playing an older character in O.C.

So if you wanna see her like 10 years younger check that out!

I dug deeper and found all this about her.

*Would have liked to be the 'pole' at her wedding!

Oh if you wanna borrow my video with it on don't bother as for some unknown reason some unexplained sticky white stuff found it's way all over the tape and it now no longer plays... *cough*

Birthday: April 24, 1972
Birth Place: Dana Point, California, USA
Birth Name: Melinda Clarke

Also credited as:
   Melinda Clark
   Mindy Clarke

Biography:
She has a brother named Josh. She also has a sister, Heidi, who died from a tumor in 1994.

She has been married to Ernest "Ernie" Mirich since 1994 and has one daughter with him named Kathryn Grace.

She is a trained soprano and has a beautiful voice that your can hear a sample of in a scene in the movie "Hot Under The Collar".

She is best friends with Hudson Leick (who played Callisto), her co-star on Xena: Warrior Princess.

She is a huge fan of the Doors and had the song "L.A. Woman" played for her at her wedding reception to Ernie Mirich in 1997. She had become very intoxicated and did an exotic pole dance to the song in front of everyone that evening. (This was all stated in an interview with Melinda on Conan O'Brien in 1998.)

Melinda's astrological sign is Leo.

She has brown hair, green eyes and is 5'7".

Mindy and Ernie were married on June 28, 1997 in Dana Point, California. They had a small, private ceremony which was for close friends and family only.

Melinda has starred in many on-stage theater productions during her career including "West Side Story", "The Elephant Man", "Dark Side Of The Moon", "Hello Dolly" and "The Sound Of Music".

  • In 1993, she starred in horror film 'Return of the Evil Dead 3.'. I think it wasn't a joy making that movie, because she later turned down the role of Tatum in 'Scream' because she had no desire to be in horror film again... (She was replaced by Rose McGowan)
  • Her first role was Faith Taylor in 'Days of Our Lives' (1989-90). Her father John Clarke is an original cast member!
  • Married to Ernie Mirich (since 1997). They have a daughter named Kathryn Grace.
  • Actress Charlotte Ross was one of Melinda's bridesmaids in her wedding to Ernie in 1997.
  • Born in Dana Point, California, Mindy Clarke was raised by her ballet dancer mother Patricia and actor father John Clarke.
  • Melinda's most important movie role was in '97 action-fantasy film 'Spawn'. She played Jessica Priest.

  • Melinda won a Stiges Film Award in 1996, for Best Actress in her role as Candy in the cult horror movie "Killer Tongue".
  • Melinda most important movie role was in the 1997 action-fantasy 'Spawn'.

  • At the age of 18 she moved to L.A. and launched her career in acting and modeling.
  • Melinda is a trained ballerina, dancer, and coloratura soprano.

Last night's last episode wasn't one of the better ones but it was a bit sad...

I can't wait for season 2 haha. Will Ryan be back?! He has to be... I bet the baby isn't his. And what are Sandy & Kirsten gonna do when they find out Seth has left as well? Sailing away to nowhere in his little boat named after Summer!

    Seth is a champ!
