Shakir man I copied this from the motley crue website!
i am probably one of the biggest motley fans there is, but i wont be seeing a bunch of guys who hate each other in a final con to lure millions out of fans. totally bogus!
On the dvd i have with vince drunk on swedish tv, he anounced his dislike for all members, even mick. I was kinda shocked at that. But more recently Vince has lost alot of weight, and scored a record deal too, his cds are going to be re released. I aint knockin it man , i just would like to see them ..even if they hid the hatred. but its all just fake i guess? if that makes sence
Anyone that knows me, knows how much i love Motley Crue.
However i gotta say, i can't see this tour making it to Australia. Firstly i don't think they can make it that far into the tour full stop, i think they will be killing each other by June. Secondly it's a big expense to bring their arena show across to Australia for a couple of shows, even coming from japan. They could go back for another round in the US to their first string of dates at half the expense and make more money. That's what Kiss did on the Pycho Circus tour rather than come to Australia because of the expense. I think if the new best of CD (Red White & Crue) gets the Label support then they may push to make it hapen here in Oz, which I'd love but i think it's the only way.
If people want to know a ****eload about what went down at the Motley press launch and the mini 5 song performance they did, check out www.metalsludge.tv they have it all and always poke fun too!
I think i might be in the LA at the end of March, i may have to swing out to a Motley gig in Reno , LA or Oakland.
RocK!

Jules - sadly I think you're right about the tour not making it down here. It's just not feasible for a band like Motley to come to Australia... I remember reading somewhere that Def Leppard said they'd never come here again because bringing the arena spectacle with them was just too damn expensive when they could be making way more cash touring the USA. Also, I'm sure we all remember what happened last time they tried to come out in 2000! EVERYBODY I knew that bought tickets had a seat in the first few rows, it was then that I knew it was never gonna happen! Still, I hope by some twist of fate that there's a renewed interest in the band and they manage to get some good media coverage and album sales. I think it is possible for Motley to do an 'Aerosmith' and achieve this, but it'll take an album of killer new material and a major label willing to push it... also, that means they'll have to appeal to the younger MTV market too, and not just the ageing bogans with mullets watching VH1!
I'm gonna be in Europe in June/July, so I plan to catch them at Sweden Rock, and at one of the UK dates hopefully! It's been a lifelong dream of mine to see the original Crue live (I was too young in 1990 and wasn't allowed to go!) so I'm seriously pumped this time 'round!
Let's all cross our fingers and hope that this is a new beginning for Motley, not just a quick cash call!!!
Yeah, the promoters last time (Jacobsen Entertainment) were pretty pathetic... The advertising for the gig was fu(king terrible... All I saw was one or two posters in the city... No TV, no radio etc... pretty bad...
To be honest i loved Crue for along time (hated GS and MC albums loved NT) having said that I couldn't really give a rats ass if they come here or not. They all hate each other tey'll play the same fkn 16 songs they've played for the last 15 years....BORING. How about a new cd and some new songs in the setlist (BTW 3 songs on the umpteenth "best of" does NOt constitute a new cd!!)
