new Motley song... thoughts???

Okay... who's heard the new Motley Crue single "If I Die Tomorrow"???

If you haven't, it's over at www.myspace.com/cruemotley in streaming audio...

Well, I fu(king LOVE it!!! And I'm not just doing the pathetic 'blind faith' thing that so many fans do... I genuinely think it's an excellent song. It's like nothing Motley have done before, which is good in my opinion - moving forward... It's one of the most melodic songs I've heard them do, and the groove kicks ass! Not to mention the catchy, infectious chorus! Nice guitar parts here, great heavy production and Vince is sounding better than he has in years, and FU(K it's good to hear that loud-ass Tommy Lee drum sound again!!!!

This song has the potential to do quite well for Motley providing that it's marketed correctly... the younger crowd would like this if they just get the opportunity to hear it! I doubt it'll happen, but if MTV and Channel V etc pick this up, this could do something... fingers crossed!!!

So what do ya'all think of it???

this isnt a mötley crüe song its a Simple Plan song and anything that needs to be marketed correctly shouldnt do well at all.

i cant stand this protools crap if they wanted to smack me in the face with a motley tour then they should have done a pre bob rock metal song not this trendy crap, mars doesnt sound like mars, nikki doesnt sound like he means it, vince is gay and tommy sounds just like every other drummer no groove at all

Blunt as **** for ya

One thing I've always loved about Motley Crue is that they never repeat themselves. Every album is clearly different and with the exception of 'new tattoo' - they've always kept it fresh. I love how they've moved forward once again with this song.. it's a great new song if one keeps an open mind while listening to it. I approached it with no agenda, no comparisons to classic Crue and I think it's actually good for what it is! Then again, I guess it's not for everybody and the 80's people who were expecting Shout At The Devil Pt2 might have a hard time swallowing the modern production and style... Fair enough, but why would I want a pre-Bob Rock 80's Crue rehash when I all I need to do is put on Shout At The Devil and Too Fast For Love for my 80's Crue fix?

LONG LIVE THE CRUE!!!

Unlike Al, i did go in with an agenda.

However, i wanted to be proved wrong and i have been.
I expected a lot worse than this, i really did. I did'nt know what to expect, but i expected it to be terrible. But it's not, i think the song is good, not great, not killer, just good.

And that's just fine with me.
Jules.

I'd say average at best...its no Bitter Pill is it?

Crue are quick becoming the new Kiss...rehashing stuff left right and centre...I bet if thsi "farewell" tour does ok they'll do another one and then another one ad nauseum!!!
