Ok obviously most of us attend Deadthings shows but I don't know who some of you are so this is a good way to find out who people are so we can say hello and have a drink together! My name's Trent.. I'm at all the shows and generally I'm the dude with a video camera for a lot of them who has either leather pants or torn jeans and always a leather biker jacket with t-shirts of Warrant or Poison or Crue or Cinderella etc and has long black hair, sometimes teased a bit. And I used to be blonde for a little while at the very start of the year (until I realised by Bret Michaels look wasn't working for me at all hahahha so I dyed it black to go to KISS as Vinnie Vincent and it looked much better).

Hey guys, I'm Chantal, connected to the band thru Roy Reaper (my bro in-law). I've probably seen you all at some point at the countless gigs, used to work with trixxi and knew jules davo and roy long before they were in the band, which makes it all the more rockin to see em onstage doing such an awesome job!

Man, who woulda thought working in customer service would make you realise how (a) 80-90% of Australians seem to have a mental illness and (b) people are generally ****ing stupid. Now I work for an air conditioning company, I've also realised that people would sooner pick up a phone to ask someone how to do something (and waste money on the phonecall) than to read their instruction booklet and work it out for themselves quicker. Also, the way they carry on, a lot of nuffy's apparently use air conditioning as a life support machine. "oh but I'm ill/I have a baby/I have a grandma and me/it/she is going to die if you cant come fix it today"

I had some great callers today doing VDA.
"Hey is Steve there?" ... uh no this is a call centre, dickhead. "Hey can you tell me the time in London?" ... uh no, this is directory assistance not a speaking clock. "Adult World please" haha. Champ.
Yeah I once worked in a call centre in Sydney for Telstra Wireplay (Online games server).
Used to get some complete retards!
My shifts were 4-11pm some weekdays so I used to -
Rollerblade/Skateboard around the offices...
Bring my dog in with me who would terrorize the girls at Nokia on the same floor...
Bring a 4 pack of wild turkey n cola, drink them to the amusement/horror of my work mates then 'answer calls' before going out after...
hehe have to make the most of a bad situation!
Anyway - there's a GREAT movie about call centres called 'Office space' - I'm sure you all know it.
It was actually based on the company I worked for which was an American owned one called "Teletech" - the place in the movie was a mirror of where I worked so imagine that! and imagine ME in there??? hahaha
