This shocked the hell outta me! it's an absolute Tragedy.
"Dimebag" or "Diamond" Darrell as he was known in the early days of Pantera (def leppard sounding era) was a killer guitarist who wrote some great riffs and Pantera as a band really carried the torch for Heavy Metal through the Grunge era.
Hell gets yet another great guitarist!

what an awesome guitarist. anyone ever see what this freak could do with his fingers? WOW. i was lucky enuff to meet him in 96 he could hardly walk and spilt a beer on me but still was a load of fun the rest of the band were a pack of twats and phil wanted to kick our heads in after we gave him a shirt with a poem writen on it giving him **** about OD'ing and hating his fans a day or so before the gig
It's an absolute disgrace!!! I've never been a fan of Pantera, but i know that the dude could play a mean guitar!! I've always wanted to get a Dimebag Signature Axe, and it's a true shame that some nut could do this.
