Best gig you've ever been too

What is the greatest gig you've ever attended??

For me it's a four way. They are:

  • EDGUY @ the espy 2002

  • EDGUY @ the manning bar(sydney) June 26 2004

  • EDGUY @ the espy June 27 2004

  • EDGUY @ the espy July 2 2004

Those four gigs were absoloutly awsome. It just does'nt get any better than seeing Edguy live on stage, and the fact that i was at the very front for 3 of them made it unbelivable!!

After that is JUDAS PRIEST in 2001. Unreal gig, once again, i was right at the front, directly infront of Glen Tipton!!!

One day i hope to get to the Wacken Open Air festival, that would be the ultimate.

God, I've been to so many good gigs, but the ones that stand out are ...

1. Stone Temple Pilots in Columbus Ohio in 2001 (Static-X were one of the support bands, they were AWESOME too)

2. Disturbed at the Hi Fi bar - last year (i think)

Awesome!! You saw them in '95 without the makeup?? I wish I did!!

I saw them in '97 on the Reunion Tour, twice in 2001 on the Farewell Tour, last year for Alive IV, and 3 times this year.

THE DARKNESS - 04 Tour - Corner Hotel

I was at that gig dude!! It was pretty awesome, but personally, i reckon that band who opened up for em, i think it was The Shine, i reckon they played a better set. Just my opinion, but The Darkness were unreal!!!

Another of the best gigs i've been to was Anthrax this year at the Palais. That was a killer show, totally rockin, the place was packed!!

Jules - you forgot 2 classics, both of which I can vouch for.......

Jeff Scott Soto in Adelaide. Probably the most beer we have consumed in 90 minutes and probably the most fun I've ever had at a gig - ON FIRE!;

And Status Quo at the Palais. Funniest gig ever. They came out of the woodworks for that show - that's for sure.  Moonshine anyone?

Best concert event for me - KISS Psycho Circus Tour at Wembly Arena in '99 (complete with 3D effects on 40 foot screens - glasses obtained at the door - awesome effects).

Personal Favourite - Rob Lamothe at 12 Bar Club in London '99. Incredible.

GAMMARAY, EDGUY, PRIMAL FEAR, HAMMERFALL, GRAVE DIGGER, MERCYFUL FATE, they would have totally killed!!

Primal Fear, yeah, they were alright, everybody in germany seems to love em, thats for sure!
