1. Zakk's signature les Paul.. without a doubt best sounding guitar out of the 4, will have the deepest, thickest sound.. ideal for single guitarist bands
2. Warlock.. just the way it looks sais it all (unfortunately unlike their bases guitars need some work to get them les Paul meaty sounding.. and they wont have that nice front pickup sound.. actually neither dose the les paul..lol)
3. Goth Explorer.. they are good Gibson work-horse.. but just cause it's black and some marketing putz calls it a Goth.. dose not mean it's hard core..lol
4. Diambag... err.. I really hate the look of that guitar.. such a good player (may he rest in peace).. must have been a sponsorship deal.. just hate that guitar
there you go..
but if I had a choice of guitar..
1963 Fender Strat - just the best clear precise sound (smooth.. warmth)
1966 Gretch Falcon - think Malcolm young (thick rhythm)
The most metal looking guitar, in my opinion, is the shark fin V. No thrash band is complete without one.
As for hardcore - well, depends on ones definition. For me - it's Les Paul all the way. You've gotta be a little hardcore lugging those chunks of wood around all night surely. Yeah they're heavy, don't give the greatest access to the whole neck but they're classic and very old school - nothing says sleaze and class at the same time like a Les Paul. Very Rock'n'Roll. SMDF.
